Wings (stylized in all caps) is the third era of BTS' career. It started on September 4, 2016 with "Begin" short film starring Jungkook and officially finished on February 20, 2017 with "Not Today" music video. Meanwhile in Japan, it started with the second compilation album "The Best of BTS -Japan Edition-" and finished on May 10, 2017 with their seventh Japanese single "Blood Sweat & Tears". All content released in this era of albums and short films have the concept of "temptation and conflict".[1]
This era is the third part of BTS Chronicle, Reflection of Youth[1] and is connected to the previous era and two following eras through the fictional BTS Universe.

It is first part of the series and BTS' second studio album with the comeback trailer and intro "Boy Meets Evil" by J-Hope. The studio album is about the growth of boys, who find themselves conflicted in the face of temptation.[2]
You Never Walk Alone (February 2017)

It is second part of the series and BTS' second repackaged album. It is a supplementary story to the previous album. The title song "Spring Day" is based on memories with old friends who you don't see anymore.[3]
