The Most Beautiful Moment in Life, Part 1 (Hangul: 화양연화; Hanja: 花樣年華 pt.1; MR: Hwayang-yeonhwa pt.1) is the third extended play of BTS. The EP was released on April 29, 2015 and is the first album of the group's two-part project series centering on Youth. The album was released in two versions and contains 9 tracks with the title track, "I Need U". In June, BTS later promoted the single, "Dope", another track from the album. In South Korea, The Most Beautiful Moment in Life, Part 1 was the sixth best-selling album of 2015.
