"Otsukaresama Song" (お疲れさまでした, お疲れ; also known as "Otsukare") is a unofficial song by SUGA and j-hope of BTS. It was performed in BTS Japan Official Fanmeeting Vol.3 ~Reaching You~ on November 9, 2016.

Background

Otsukare is the Japanese phrase for "thank you for your hard work" or "you've worked hard". The phrase is usually utilized as a way to express your appreciation for a colleague's work within your team.

During the BTS's First Japan Tour-Wake Up: Open Your Eyes, j-hope came up for the melody combining it together with the phrase 'otsukare'. SUGA and j-hope can be seen practicing their debut of 'Otsukare' during a 2016 BANGTAN BOMB. All of their hard work paid off as Otsukare debuted during a BTS Japan Official Fanmeeting Vol. 3.[1]
