Namjin (Nam/joon (RM's real name) and Jin) is the friendship pairing between RM and Jin.
Relationship[]
Jin and RM have both great at responsibility and bounce off each other - as the leader, RM shoulders much of the responsibility of the group, and Jin as the eldest member is great at caring for the younger members. In the past, they were affectionately referred to as the "parents" of BTS due to their caring nature.

- In October 2016, Jimin tweeted a video of them with matching SNOW filters.
- Jin once said to an interview that RM is his celebrity crush.
- On April Fools 2018, Jimin made a fake article about them, where it's mentioned they've been together for one year.
- They cook together for BTS Festa 2020's specials at "BTS Birthday Party" and become a unit for karaoke at "MAP OF THE SONG : 7".
- Both once were considered the worst dancers by some people because of their lack of dance skills among the other members at the beginning of their career. However, in May 2019 on iHeartRadio in the USA, both the ARMY and the other members defended Namjin by saying that all of them are perfect dancers since RM's and Jin's dance skills are progressed better year by year. Since that, the hashtag #NamjinBestDancers and #NamjinWeLoveYou3000 became trending topics on Twitter.
- Both are considered by fans as "Hallway Buddies" because they always spotted walking side to side in the hallways.
- In 2020, they sang "Stay" along with Jung Kook.
