The single is certified Double Platinum by RIAJ for the shipment of 500,000 copies.[1]

- This is the first time BTS has released a single with four tracks.
- This is the first time a single has featured a Korean track.
- The single was initially titled "Bird/Fake Love/Airplane Pt.2", but the song "Bird" was removed from the track list after the producer Akimoto Yasushi faced "right-winger" accusations.
